Lisa Scheller Endorsed by Rep. Elise Stefanik’s E-PAC
U.S. Rep. Elise Stefanik’s E-Pac today announced it has endorsed Allentown Republican Lisa Scheller in her race for Pennsylvania’s 7th Congressional District.
Stefanik, who represents New York’s 21st District, was the youngest woman elected to Congress and gained national attention for her role on the House Intelligence Committee, where she became a strong defender of due process during its impeachment inquiry.
“I am honored to have the endorsement of a strong, independent-minded Republican woman who has set an example of ethics and fair play in Congress,” Scheller said. “Elise Stefanik knows that we need more Republican women in Congress and, with the support of women like her, we can bring commonsense leadership back to the 7th District.”
Listing Scheller among eight women candidates with a “proven path to victory,” Stefanik praised the “impressive candidates building strong campaigns and grassroots movements in their communities.”
Scheller, an Allentown businesswoman and philanthropist, has been active in Republican circles for decades. She previously served a term as Lehigh County Commissioner.
