LCCC opens nursing simulation center

TAMAQUA, Pa. – Lehigh Carbon Community College students in Schuylkill County have a new space to test their nursing skills.

LCCC opened the new Scheller Nursing Simulation Center at its Tamaqua campus Monday.

It used to be a bookstore and lounge space, but the area has been converted into a lab for nursing education.

It has nursing simulation equipment, a control room, a debriefing area, and a classroom.

The center was funded by a grant from the Morgan Foundation.
